    So I've been following a lot of the recommendations from this now-defunct blog called "The Great LA Taco Hunt".  It's got some great info, but oddly enough whenever I try somewhere new I always much prefer a different menu item over the taco I originally went there for.

    And this place is no different.  The lomo taco was what I sought out, and it was perfectly fine but the real best in show here are their sopes.  Absolutely INCREDIBLE!   Especially the carnitas one.  I could have that three times a week for the rest of my life and never grow tired of it.  SO GOOD!

    I really like supporting the mom and pop restaurants and wanted to like this Mexican restaurant with homey table cloths with authentic Mexican music.

    I was the only person there and yet it seemed I was slow to get service. The music was blaring way too loud. I could have overlooked things but I found the Carnitas and read wet burrito sauce to be below mediocre. Perhaps I should have checked the reviews to see what meat is best but I love Carnitas and there is plenty in the area.

    This place really loads up their tacos!!! The food came with chips and they gave us free drinks as well. I thought the food was really delicious as well.

    Word to the wise .... order the taquitos!!! They are amazing and the ingredients are very authentic. Yes, I know that taquitos are an American invention of sorts , but I speak Spanglish and the food at Sanchez is bomb. My abuelitos (grandparents) approve!!! And so does this Los Angelina. (Btw I also love their nachos , as pictured below)

    Ordered 5 carne asada tacos with sauce on the side . The meat was terrible and lacked flavor , tortillas were stale . Tacos had hardly any onion or cilantro . Def won't be coming back here !!!
